We are a growing personalised jewellery business based in Sandiacre, Nottingham, looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our small workshop team.
This is a hands-on and varied role covering different areas of jewellery production and order fulfilment. Full training will be provided, so previous jewellery-making experience is not essential.
We are looking for someone practical, careful, willing to learn and comfortable working in a busy workshop environment.
The role will include:
- Preparing and packing customer orders
- Using laser engraving machines
- Jewellery polishing and finishing
- Preparing personalised jewellery
- Quality checking finished products
- Organising orders and materials
- General workshop duties
- Helping with different stages of production as required
As you gain experience, you will be trained to use more of our equipment and become more independent throughout the production process.
What we are looking for:
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working with your hands and using machinery
- Able to follow instructions accurately
- Willing to learn new skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a small team
- Previous workshop, manufacturing, jewellery, engraving or packing experience would be helpful but is not essential
Hours & pay:
- £13.00 per hour starting rate
- Minimum 25 guaranteed hours per week
- Hours will usually be higher depending on workload
- During busy periods, hours may increase to full-time
- For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to develop into regular full-time hours as the business grows
- 6-month probation period
- Pay will be reviewed as skills, experience and responsibilities develop
We are a small but growing business and are looking for someone who would ideally like to stay and grow with us long-term. This role would suit someone who enjoys practical, varied work and wants the opportunity to learn different skills rather than doing exactly the same task all day.
