SHU is a multi-award winning restaurant established in 2000. We are currently hiring for Senior Section Waiter roles in either a full-time or part-time capacity. Weekend availability is required for the role as is flexible working patterns covering potentially lunch and evenings shifts.
The role incudes:
-Managing your own section - rewarded with a high proportion of tips
-Serving guests in a timely, professional manner
-Recommending food and beverage products - a good knowledge of wine is important
-Using EPOS to input guest orders
-Working as part of a team
-Cash Handling - taking payments
-Taking responsibility for your role in the team
-Working to exceed guest expectations in service and hospitaility
-Informing guests on new promotions, events and products at the restaurant
Desirable Criteria;
-Knowledge of food allergens
-Great wine and spirits knowledge
-Experience working in a fast paced cover driven restaurant
-Experience working as a Section Waiter
-Responsible team member who can support the progression of junior staff
Mandatory Criteria:
-Minimum 2 years experience as a section waiter
-Weekend availability
-Ability to reliably travel and commute to the business
