Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing assistance to individuals in their own homes. The role involves supporting service user in their own homes, requiring strong communication skills and a compassionate approach.
Candidate must have experience with Learning disability and Autism and willing to work short hours of at least 4 hours per shift.
SHIFT PATTERN: 6am-9am & 3pm-9pm 7days a week
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities and personal care
- Engage with service user to provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in health or behaviour
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations made.
Requirements:
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with service user and colleagues
- Ability to follow and implement support plans effectively.
