Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Handling materials efficiently and safely within the warehouse environment
- Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided)
- Managing inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations
- Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading lorries
- Picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer specifications
- Stocking shelves and ensuring products are organised correctly for easy access
- Conducting quality control checks to maintain high standards of product integrity
- Performing mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times during daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for specific equipment such as forklifts
- Knowledge of materials handling, stock management, and shipping & receiving procedures is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in picking, packing, and inventory management
- Physical fitness to handle long periods of standing, lifting, and moving goods
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
