Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations
- Manage food production processes to meet customer demands while maintaining quality standards
- Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Organise and manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling waste
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
- Develop new menu items and contribute to the creative direction of the culinary offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality service, including serving customers when required
Requirements
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with a track record of team management and leadership
- Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant roles is highly desirable
