We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other school staff to provide high-quality support to pupils, helping them to engage with their learning and develop their confidence and independence.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils

Supporting students with their learning and development

Helping pupils remain focused and engaged in lessons

Encouraging positive behaviour and building strong relationships with students

Assisting teachers with classroom activities and resources

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment

Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Previous experience working in a school or with children is desirable, but not essential
