Midport Roofing & Cladding is looking for an experienced Working Foreman/Site Supervisor to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who can confidently manage roofing and cladding gangs, maintain productivity, communicate with site management and ensure work is completed safely, correctly and on programme.
You will be expected to lead from the front and assist on the tools when required.
Main responsibilities
- Managing roofing and cladding operatives on site
- Organising daily work areas and allocating labour
- Monitoring progress against the programme
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Carrying out quality checks and managing snagging
- Coordinating materials, plant, MEWPs and deliveries
- Attending site meetings when required
- Completing daily progress reports and sending photographs
- Monitoring health and safety standards
- Keeping accurate records of labour and completed works
- Assisting on the tools when needed
The ideal candidate
- Strong experience within industrial roofing and cladding
- Previous experience managing gangs or supervising sites
- Good knowledge of built-up roofing and wall-cladding systems
- Confident reading drawings and construction details
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Able to manage deadlines and tight programmes
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to travel and work away when required

- SSSTS or SMSTS
- CSCS card
- IPAF
- PASMA
- First Aid
- Asbestos Awareness
- Manual Handling
- Harness and Working at Height training
