Role: Self-Employed Delivery Driver
Location: Delivering in Central Scotland
Hours: Full time or Part time
Vehicle: Use your own van, or we can provide a van fully insured(Rental Charge Applies)
Start: Immediately
We are seeking reliable Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers, delivering compliantly as stipulated by our contract provider and be respectful to customer and their property at all times.
This is a physically demanding role that can at times require heavy lifting. English does not need to be your first language but we do require communication skills to be good/excellent.
Duties:
- Safely deliver goods to designated locations
- Load and unload items from the vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers/management to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete Start and End of Day Data as stipulated by the management team.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections(Even if you are using your own van)
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Experience Preferred but not essential:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Familiarity with route optimising technology preferred
- Ability to drive in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for all drivers with a clean driving record to use our vehicles
- right to work in the UK
