Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, friendly Solicitor to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills. This role involves providing specific specialist legal advice, representing clients in various legal matters, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
The salary will be £30,000.00 per annum, plus commission to be agreed.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on a range of issues, (matrimonial, family, property and commercial matters).
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings to achieve favourable outcomes.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, wills, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Conduct thorough research on legal precedents and case law to support client cases effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation and regulations that may affect clients' interests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with clear communication throughout the legal process.
- Collaborate with other professionals within the firm to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Court advocacy for family, matrimonial, possession and civil cost cases.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests.
- Prepare instrucitons to counsel and experts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex legal issues.
- Drafting court documents, settlement agreements etc.
- Ability to think "outside the box"
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for drafting documents and client interactions.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all legal work produced.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
