Recclesia is a specialist conservation contractor working on historic buildings and ancient ruins across the North West & Wales. They are seeking a labourer to assist the team of stonemasons and brickwork specialists on site.
The role is project specific, to assist with works to a large listed building in Manchester City Centre. The role will principally focus on the conservation and repair of brickwork and terracotta. You will be capable of making mortar mixes, raking out and prepping for repointing, careful dismantling, and general tasks as directed by the masons.
The company is trusted to work on some of the UK's most important buildings, so high standards of workmanship and attention to detail are essential. You will have plenty of initiative and an ability to think ahead and plan your work. Where possible, examples of your work should be included with your CV.
The role is site based and you will be expected to travel to project locations. You must have a current CSCS card and a driving licence valid in the UK. Full role and project specific safety training will be provided where it is not in place already. Opportunities for further vocational training may be made available as part of this role.
