We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner, preferably Level 3 qualified but level 2 considered to join our vibrant early childhood education team. We are specifically looking for pracitioners to work in our 0-2year olds room so experience with younger children is required.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within our nursery setting. Duties
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in accordance with early childhood education standards.
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through nurturing interactions and personalised care.
- Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to nursery policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and welfare in line with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's development and daily routines.
- Lead small group activities, providing guidance and support to less experienced staff where necessary.
- Contribute to the organisation of nursery routines, including meal times, rest periods, and outdoor play sessions.
- Uphold health & safety standards at all times, including risk assessments and hygiene protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting is essential.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative and organisational skills.
