Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a confident and capable individual to join our Family team as Department Assistant at our Bromsgrove office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, articulate and eager to learn. Previous experience of working in a legal environment would be advantageous although not essential, as training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the Family Department and assist with the day to day running of a busy team.
- Manage and coordinate calendar appointments, meetings, and deadlines.
- Handle incoming calls with an excellent telephone manner, directing enquiries appropriately.
- Preparing correspondence and legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Responding to client enquiries and supporting the team with general administrative tasks.
- Requirements
- Proven experience within a professional environment, preferably in legal although not essential.
- Strong IT skills and proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise situations in a sensitive, timely and effective manner, a pleasant personality and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for this role.
- Previous experience of utilising case management systems would be advantageous.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Strong typing skills with attention to accuracy and speed; familiarity with office equipment such as copiers and scanners.
- Ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner when dealing with clients by email, telephone and face to face is essential.
