Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Gardener to join our team. As an Assistant Gardener, you will be responsible for helping to maintain and enhance the appearance of our customers gardens and landscapes. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of various gardening techniques and tools.
Duties:
- Perform regular garden maintenance tasks such as watering, weeding, and pruning
- Help Plant and cultivate flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants
- Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases
- Maintain lawns by mowing, edging
- Use power tools and hand tools to maintain garden equipment
- Assist with landscape maintenance projects such as mulching and installing irrigation systems
- Ensure that all garden areas are clean and free from debris
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in gardening or groundskeeping helpful
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in gardening
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
