Fastlane Autocare is expanding, and we’re looking for a confident, motivated and customer-focused Inbound Sales Advisor to join our team in St Helens.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is great with customers, enjoys working towards targets and knows how to turn an enquiry into a booking.
This is not a cold-calling role.
You’ll be speaking with customers who are already looking for help with their vehicle. Your job is to understand what they need, provide the right solution and convert their enquiry into a confirmed booking.

The Role
As an Inbound Sales Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of our customer journey and a key part of our sales operation.
You’ll manage incoming enquiries from customers across multiple channels, including:
- Telephone
- Email
- Live chat
- Online enquiry platforms
- RAC
- AA
- WhoCanFixMyCar
- Blackcircles
You’ll speak with customers, understand their vehicle requirements, provide clear and helpful advice, prepare quotations and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
This is a busy, varied role that combines sales, customer service and problem-solving. You’ll need to be confident, organised and comfortable managing multiple enquiries throughout the day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responding to inbound sales enquiries quickly and professionally
- Speaking with customers by phone, email, live chat and online platforms
- Understanding customer needs and recommending the most appropriate solution
- Providing quotations and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Following up on enquiries and sales opportunities
- Accurately entering customer and vehicle information into our systems
- Managing bookings and keeping customers informed
- Working closely with our workshop and wider team to ensure a smooth customer journey
- Building trust and rapport with customers
- Working towards individual and team performance targets
- Delivering excellent customer service from first enquiry through to booking
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is confident, motivated and comfortable working in a sales-focused environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, telesales, sales support or a similar customer-facing role
- Confidence speaking with customers over the phone
- A natural ability to build rapport and understand customer needs
- A strong sales mindset without using a pushy approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple enquiries in a busy environment
- A proactive and positive attitude
- A reliable approach to work with excellent punctuality and attendance
- The motivation to achieve targets and earn performance-related bonuses
Previous automotive experience or a basic understanding of vehicles would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
You don’t need to be a mechanic or an automotive expert. If you’re confident with customers, commercially minded and willing to learn, we want to hear from you.
