Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Vehicle Estimator
Hours : 8.30am -5.00pm Monday - Friday
Full Time : Permanent Position
Location: Harlequin Motors Ltd, Unit 12 Lunsford Road, Leicester, LE5 0HJ
Salary: £35,000 -£42,000 per annum - dependent on experience
Plus Monthly Bonus
Harlequin Motors is looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our busy Accident repair Centre in Leicester. We are an established site, we have been repairing vehicles for over 50 years serving many of the UK’s major insurance and accident management companies.
Duties will include:
- Accurately and professionally assessing a wide range of vehicles
- Using two computerised estimating systems (Audatex and GT Global)
- Calculate costings and the time required to complete all necessary repairs
- Researching repair methods
- Processing initial parts order
- Liaise regularly with insurance engineers
- Contacting customers to provide updates
In order to be considered you must have:
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience using estimating software
- Be motivated
- Have attention to detail & quality repairs
- ATA qualification and advantage but not essential
- Excellent customer service skills
