Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and attention to detail. Duties
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal and structural components
- Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products
- Measure and mark materials accurately using basic math skills
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance and adherence to standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality targets
Qualifications
- Proven experience in TIG welding and general fabrication within a manufacturing or workshop environment
- Strong knowledge of <LOCATION> welding standards and practices
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of fabrication processes and assembly techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately

- Prior experience working with sheet metal is desirable but not essential
