Together for Mental Wellbeing is recruiting full time Support Workers for one of our accommodation services in Sudbury, Lucas Road. There may also be a requirement to work at our sister service in Stowmarket, Cricket Meadows, depending on service need.
The purpose of this role is to support and encourage people to maintain tenancies, reach greater levels of independence and wellbeing, find purpose and meaningful connections within their local communities and to improve overall feelings of life autonomy and fulfilment.
As this is a 24-hour staffed service, the role requires early, late and sleep-in shifts (for which an enhancement is paid in addition to salary), as well as alternate weekend cover.
Given this role involves supporting vulnerable people, successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check and satisfactory references prior to being offered employment. Regrettably, we are unable to provide sponsorship for non-UK nationals.
If you are ready to take the next step towards working for the oldest mental health charity, with excellent training and qualification opportunities, competitive rates of pay, employee benefits and friendly dynamic working environments, we look forward to hearing from you.
