We are seeking a dedicated experienced Catering Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality catering services across various events and venues. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure dishes meet quality standards
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering area, including utensils, equipment, and work surfaces
- Support the setup and breakdown of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, and service stations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Provide excellent guest services by attending to customer needs promptly and professionally
- Restock supplies as required during service periods to ensure smooth operation
- Assist with inventory management and stock control for catering supplies
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest interactions
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends or evenings if required
- A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail in food presentation and service standards
- Personal commitment to maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene standards
