Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CCTV and Access Control Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV systems and access control solutions across various sites. Your expertise will ensure the security and operational efficiency of our clients’ facilities through innovative system design and precise execution. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems ensuring optimal coverage and performance
- Design and implement access control solutions tailored to client needs, including system schematics and layout planning
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to CCTV cameras, network connectivity, and access control hardware
- Conduct site surveys to assess security requirements and develop detailed system design plans
- Perform electrical work using power tools and hand tools, adhering to safety standards during installation
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate system setup
- Collaborate with telecommunication teams to integrate CCTV and access control systems into existing networks
Experience
- Proven experience working with CCTV surveillance systems and access control technologies
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles related to security systems
- Mechanical knowledge for installing hardware components in various environments
- Familiarity with computer hardware components relevant to security system operation
- Electrical experience including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and power management
- Construction experience is advantageous for site preparation and installation tasks
- Ability to read schematics, system design documents, and technical drawings confidently
- Hands-on experience with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) is a plus
- Knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure relevant to security system integration
