Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor (Live-in) to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising food and beverage services, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Supervise the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring consistency and quality standards are met.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food production, cooking, and food safety compliance.
- Manage the service team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to plan menus, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the premises in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist in organising events or special functions, ensuring seamless service from start to finish.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality service, fostering a positive team environment.
- Handle guest enquiries or complaints professionally, aiming to resolve issues promptly and satisfactorily.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production and service.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable; barista or serving experience is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest interaction.
- Flexibility to work live-in hours which may include evenings or weekends as required; previous hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous. Pay: £14.70-£16.50 per hour
