Reactive Drainage Engineer – Metro Rod Lancashire
We are looking for an experienced or practically minded Reactive Drainage Engineer to join our growing team at Metro Rod Lancashire.
You will attend a variety of commercial and domestic drainage jobs, diagnosing problems and providing the right drainage solution while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend planned and reactive drainage jobs.
- Clear blocked drains, toilets, gullies and drainage systems.
- Carry out high-pressure water jetting and associated drainage works.
- Diagnose faults and identify any further works required.
- Complete accurate job reports and photographs.
- Communicate clearly with customers and our office team.
- Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
- Work safely and follow company Health & Safety procedures.
- Take part in the company on-call rota, attending out-of-hours emergency drainage call-outs when required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous drainage experience is preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, professional and customer focused.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours and on-call requirements.
- Willingness to learn and develop additional drainage skills.
