Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable security officer to work at our transport site in Retford on Fridays and Saturdays from 1600 – 0000hrs each weekend.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about security and have excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas and monitor premises to prevent theft, ASB, or infractions of rules
- Act as a visible deterrent to crime and enforce company policies
- Conduct regular security checks of the premises
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any suspicious activity or alarms
- Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response techniques
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent observation skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Requirements:
- A valid SIA license
- Ability to be screened with 5 year verifiable work/education/travel history.
