Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled CCTV Drainage Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems using advanced CCTV technology. Your expertise will help identify blockages, structural issues, and other drainage problems to ensure the smooth operation of infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Operate CCTV inspection equipment to assess the condition of drainage pipes and systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of drainage networks to identify blockages, cracks, or other structural issues.
- Use hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs, cleaning, or maintenance tasks on drainage infrastructure.
- Perform excavation work with excavators when necessary to access underground drainage systems.
- Carry out welding and mechanical repairs on damaged pipework or related components.
- Apply electrical experience where needed for system diagnostics or installing electronic monitoring devices.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for reporting purposes.
Skills
- Proven experience operating CCTV drainage inspection equipment and interpreting footage.
- Preferably OS19 qualified.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to drainage monitoring or control devices.
- Familiarity with general plumbing and drainage systems’ construction and repair techniques.
- Ability to work safely in confined spaces and adhere to health and safety regulations.
This role, will at times require extensive night works which are compensated for as part of the overall offered package.
