Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently across designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to complete multiple deliveries across various locations within the assigned area.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise time and fuel efficiency.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or any issues encountered during routes.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required, maintaining accurate records of all deliveries made.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company policies at all times, prioritising safety in all activities.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock organisation or inventory checks when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, ideally with multi-drop responsibilities.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving and familiarity with navigating urban and rural routes efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when required, including loading and unloading goods.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries within tight schedules.
