We are recruiting a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a Children's Residential Home in Preston, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations.
You will lead and develop your team, maintain high safeguarding standards and create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the Children's Residential Home.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing staff team.
- Promote safeguarding and child-centred practice.
- Build positive relationships with Local Authorities, families and professionals.
- Oversee care planning, quality assurance and service performance.
- Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for young people.
Requirements
✔ Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step into a Registered Manager role.
✔ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum).
✔ Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or working towards).
✔ Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes legislation.
✔ Experience supporting young people with EBD.
✔ Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
✔ Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Pay: £50,532.54-£60,004.32 per year
