We're looking for a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Trainee Locksmith & Property Maintenance Assistant.
No previous experience is required. Full on-the-job training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn practical skills and build a long-term career.
Location & Travel
Your working day will normally begin in Thornton-Cleveleys, where you'll meet the team before travelling to customer sites across the North West. As our work is carried out at a variety of domestic and commercial properties, you'll travel to different locations each day, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential.
The Role
You'll work alongside experienced team members, learning a variety of skills while assisting with:
- Lock openings, lock replacements and lock repairs.
- Home and commercial security upgrades.
- House clearances.
- General property maintenance and repairs.
- Garden maintenance, including tidying and general upkeep.
- Preparing properties for new tenants or sale.
- Loading, unloading and transporting tools, materials and equipment.
- Delivering excellent customer service on every job.
No two days are the same, and you'll gain experience across a wide range of domestic and commercial work.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good practical skills and the ability to use hand tools.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Physically fit, as the role involves manual work and lifting.
- Friendly and professional when dealing with customers.
- Able to work well as part of a team and independently.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
