Twyford Care Group is recruiting experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our supported living services across Derby.
This is a part-time permanent opportunity supporting adults with mental health needs to live independently within supported living environments. We are looking for reliable, compassionate individuals who are confident working in community-based mental health support services.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will support individuals with:
- Daily living skills and routines
- Emotional wellbeing and mental health recovery
- Accessing appointments and community activities
- Maintaining safe and stable tenancies
- Building independence and confidence
- Person-centred support plans and documentation
You will work as part of a wider support team delivering recovery-focused support within supported living services.
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 1 year experience in mental health support, supported living, care, or social care
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and rota-based hours
- Good communication and record-keeping skills
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Experience in supported living or community mental health services
- Understanding of recovery-focused or trauma-informed support
Shift Patterns
- Day shifts: 9am–2pm and 10am-2pm, 4x per week
- Weekend & Bank holiday availability required
- Available to cover annual leave on an ad hoc basis
