About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to play a pivotal role in leading and developing the Commission's corporate support function. Managing Executive Support and Business Support teams, you will work closely with Directors and senior leaders to ensure high-quality support services, drive organisational improvements and help the Commission operate effectively and efficiently.
Operating at the centre of the Commission, you will coordinate support services across directorates, balance competing priorities and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. The role offers significant exposure to senior leaders and requires the confidence to influence, challenge and provide advice on issues affecting organisational effectiveness.
This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and pace to a complex environment. You'll lead teams, solve problems, improve services and build strong relationships across the Commission, bringing sound judgement and a proactive approach to achieving outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:

Leading and developing the corporate support function, managing a team of Executive Support and Business Support Officers, creating a resilient, flexible function that delivers high-quality support across the Commission

Partnering with Directors and senior leaders to shape priorities, improve ways of working and ensure resources are focused on what matters most

Planning and coordinating resources to ensure that capacity is aligned to changing organisational demands

Overseeing key corporate governance processes, helping to ensure transparency, consistency and strong organisational control

The Corporate Support Manager is part of the Corporate Services Directorate, working within the Governance, Risk and Corporate Support team. This role sits at the heart of the organisation, providing essential support that helps ensure corporate priorities are delivered effectively and efficiently.
You will join a collaborative, supportive and high-performing team dedicated to delivering excellent corporate services across the Commission. Working closely with colleagues from across the organisation, the team plays a key role in enabling effective decision-making, strong governance and continuous organisational improvement.
