Job Description:
We offer a basic salary of £28,598 to £34,434 depending on experience, working 36.5 hours per week. Our main office is located at 10 Brindley Place, Birmingham, with full-time remote working currently in place and plans to open a local office in Manchester. As we continue to grow, we are looking to strengthen our Surveying Services team and are seeking applications for this Professional Support Officer role, reporting to the Programme Lead within the Facilities Management division.
The Role:
This is a planning-focused role within the Surveying Services team, supporting the coordination and delivery of Fire Risk surveys across our client portfolio. The role will involve reviewing completed Fire Risk Assessment surveys, liaising with clients on a daily basis, updating live trackers and work plans, and using Excel alongside our in-house systems to maintain accurate records and support service delivery. Working as part of a small team, you will be expected to support colleagues where required, respond to changing priorities, and help ensure work is planned, monitored, and completed effectively.
About You:
We are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused individual with experience of planning, coordinating work and maintaining accurate records. You will be confident using Excel and in-house systems to update live trackers, monitor progress, manage changing priorities and support the effective delivery of risk survey programmes. With strong communication skills, you will liaise with clients on a daily basis, work collaboratively as part of a small team, and support colleagues where required. You will be comfortable reviewing survey information, identifying queries or gaps, and helping to ensure work is planned, tracked and completed to a high standard.
