Job Summary
Our independent cafe and arty space is seeking a dynamic and experienced Barista and Cafe Assistant to work around 2-3 days a week with the possibility of extra hours.
We pride ourselves in giving a welcoming and excellent service, serve the best for food and drink and make our customers and team feel at home within our vibrant café environment.
The successful candidate will be trained and then responsible for setting up for the day, making and serving food and drinks including Barista service, Matcha and our special recipes, as well as closing paying attention to food and cafe safety and hygiene. You will be responsible for smooth running of the cafe, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food and drink quality.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality, confident as a barista, prepare and serve food, and taking a responsibilities and shining with a wonderful small team. Experience required
- Proven experience as a barista within a small café or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Knowledge of operations, including serving, food production, and kitchen procedure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bring a Glorious hello to our customer, motivate and work with a diverse small team and with the business owner/manager
- Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of service quality.
