Multiple Pharmacy Dispensers required to help with growth
Location: Tynechem pharmacy NE11 0NJ
Hours: Full-Time preferred; minimum 30 hours/week required; alternate Saturdays 9:00–12:00
Contract: Permanent can be paid as a Locum
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, proactive Pharmacy Dispenser to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting our pharmacy services, including care home dispensing and MDS tray preparation, delivering safe, accurate care to all our patients.
Requirements
- Qualified dispenser preferred, or minimum 1 year’s hands-on dispensing experience (essential)
- Experience with care home dispensing and MDS trays — highly desirable
- Able to work alternate Saturday mornings (9–12)
- Proactive, able to work well under pressure, and a strong team player
- Good attention to detail and accuracy at all times
- Eligibility to work in the UK

Key Responsibilities
- Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Assembly and checking of MDS trays for care home clients
- Serving patients and providing excellent customer care
- Stock management, ordering, and rotation
- Maintaining pharmacy cleanliness, compliance, and safety standards
- Supporting the team during busy periods
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
