The role
As a Project Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-value, long-term defence infrastructure programme that supports national security.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
Managing project delivery across the full project lifecycle, ensuring scope, cost, schedule and quality objectives are achieved
Collaborating with customers, joint venture partners and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and project alignment
Leading and supporting project teams, including providing direction to junior project professionals
Monitoring project performance, risks and opportunities, implementing effective mitigation strategies where required
Producing project reports and presenting progress updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders
This is a full-time, permanent role working 37 hours per week based at our Glasgow site.
Essential experience of the Project Manager:
Demonstrable experience working as a Project Manager with full project lifecycle responsibility
Experience delivering civil infrastructure or major engineering projects
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders within complex project environments
Experience applying recognised project management methodologies and best practice
Strong communication, planning and organisational skills
Qualifications for the Project Manager:
Degree qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience
Security Clearance
