Part-time stud worker/groom required mornings and some occasional afternoons to assist with thoroughbred horses to include mares & youngstock & horses out of training.
Duties will include turning out/bringing in, horses on and off the horse walker, mucking out to a high standard, assisting with all general yard duties & upkeep of the yards & paddocks to include using a terra-vac paddock cleaner. Assisting with the preparation of sales horses.
Ideally you will have had some experience with working with mares & foals in a stud environment, be able to demonstrate good horsemanship & possess an enthusiastic attitude with a good work ethic.
Hours 7.30am - 1pm 5/6 mornings per week. Pay will depend on experience & age.
