We are seeking highly organised Master Technicians to support multiple depots in Sussex assisting with the diagnosis and repair of vehicle faults while staying up to date with modern vehicle technologies. The role will also involve training and supporting engineering colleagues to develop their diagnostic capabilities.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Diagnosing vehicle faults
- Using advanced diagnostic equipment and software
- Training and upskilling colleagues, including apprentices, in basic diagnostic tools
- Helping to reduce reliance on external contractors
- Producing detailed technical reports when required
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems
- Proven experience in fault diagnosis
- Experience using a variety of diagnostic tools (e.g. Jaltest, Cummins Insite, Mercedes-Benz Xentry, ZF Testman and other PSV/heavy vehicle systems)
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high industry and company standards
- Strong organisational and workload management skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities
- Highly organised, enthusiastic, and practical mindset
- Field service experience is desirable
Pay: £29.71 per hour
