Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards, ensuring high-quality food presentation
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or during catering events
- Support the team in managing inventory, restocking supplies, and monitoring freshness of ingredients
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless dining experience
Skills
- Proven experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in the kitchen
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills for serving customers and working within a team
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food preparation tools, and culinary procedures
- Passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail and presentation
- Prior experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, or culinary roles is highly desirable
Pay: £12.71-£18.83 per hour
