Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable, though full training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking part-time or full-time employment.
This Role is direct to a company for cleaning our portfolio and we have a mix of premises that need cleaning not limited to but as below:
Our Office
2 X air bnbs
4 x student houses
1 commercial bar premises and toilets
YOU MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENSE AS YOU WOULD NEED TO DRIVE A SMALL VAN WHEN GOING TO DIFFRENT PLACES
Duties
- Perform change overs / check outs at our air bnbs including full clean, change the bedding and towls stock up the sundries and then wash the change over laundry back at our office
- Student houses clean the communal areas once a month
- Bar clean the venue once a day
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, and communal spaces, using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces, emptying bins, and replenishing supplies as necessary
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Keep cleaning equipment clean and in good working order
- Adhere to company policies regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions accurately
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated periods
- Reliability and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service are highly valued
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
