A an established, family-friendly dental clinic situated in the heart of Glossop, Derbyshire. The practice provides high-quality dental care with a strong reputation for its welcoming team atmosphere and immaculate facilities.
Below is a list of some of the duties you will be undertaking
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Providing oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study models
- Performing basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring and trimming models
- Scheduling patient appointments and maintaining patient records
- Providing support to the front desk as needed
Qualifications:
- Maths and English grade 4 (C) or above
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent organisational skills

Training & Location
- Workplace training based at our Glossop based dental practice
- One day per week attending Tameside College (Tameside One Wellington Street )
- Apprenticeship duration: approximately 18–24 months
Working Hours
- Minimum of 30 hours per week
- Potential to work up to 40 hours per week
