Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of waiting areas, reception, restrooms, and staff areas using commercial cleaning techniques and equipment
- Disinfect surfaces, countertops, and high-touch objects to meet health and safety standards
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all cleaning tools are maintained and stored properly
- Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a sterile environment
- Manage waste disposal in accordance with health regulations and practice policies
- Conduct routine deep cleans and special sanitation procedures as scheduled
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures specific to healthcare or dental settings is a plus
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established protocols
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts
