Looking for flexible part-time work in a friendly school environment?
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our catering team at East Lane School.
This role is ideal for someone seeking school-friendly hours and who enjoys working as part of a team delivering a great meal service for students.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with food preparation and service
- Serving meals and refreshments
- Setting up and clearing dining areas
- Washing up and maintaining high cleaning standards
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Supporting kitchen staff during service periods
- Assisting with allergen and food safety procedures
What we’re looking for:
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Previous catering, hospitality or kitchen experience desirable
- Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification desirable (training available)
Please note:
- Enhanced DBS check required
- Candidates should be able to travel reliably to East Lane School Monday to Friday
