We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service and drive continued growth while ensuring outstanding standards of care and regulatory compliance.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care in accordance with regulatory requirements and company values.
You will provide strong leadership to the care team, maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and standards, and work closely with service users, families, commissioners, and healthcare professionals to achieve excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the domiciliary care service in line with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain registration and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and legislation.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, quality assurance, and safeguarding procedures.
- Recruit, develop, supervise, and retain a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Ensure effective staff training, performance management, and professional development.
- Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, local authorities, and healthcare partners.
- Manage budgets, resources, and operational performance effectively.
- Support business development and growth opportunities while maintaining high standards of care.
- Ensure timely reporting, record keeping, and incident management.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within domiciliary care.
- Strong knowledge of care regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience managing care staff, rotas, recruitment, and service delivery.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Eligibility to register as a Registered Manager with the relevant regulator.
Desirable Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
- Experience working with local authorities, NHS partners, and commissioners.
- Track record of achieving positive inspection outcomes.
