We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and organised person to join our team as a trainee Transport Planner.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, develop their skills and gain experience within a busy transport operation.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage drivers and vehicles across allocated routes and loads.
- Ensure routes are planned efficiently and effectively for our drivers.
- Coordinate daily transport operations and respond to any changes or challenges.
- Help maximise vehicle utilisation and ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced transport environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Good geographical knowledge of Ireland.
- Good IT skills are essential.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a busy environment.
- Reliable, hardworking and keen to develop within the company.
- Experience within refrigerated transport would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 12:00pm – 9:00pm
- 1 Sunday in 4
