Lead an Established Supported Accommodation Service

We are recruiting a Registered Service Manager to lead an established 50-bed Supported Accommodation Service based in Wirral, Merseyside, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The Role
As the Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the service, ensuring that young people receive safe, high-quality support while maintaining full regulatory compliance.
You will work closely with senior management, lead and develop your staff team, and build positive relationships with local authorities and external professionals to ensure the service continues to achieve excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of a 50-bed Supported Accommodation Service.
- Provide effective leadership, supervision and support to Team Leaders and Support Workers.
- Ensure safeguarding standards and regulatory compliance are maintained at all times.
- Promote a positive, therapeutic and person-centred culture.
- Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvements.
- Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, commissioners and partner agencies.
- Manage staffing, performance, rotas and recruitment.
- Ensure young people receive high-quality support that promotes independence and positive outcomes.
Requirements
✔ Previous experience as a Registered Service Manager, Service Manager, or an experienced senior manager within Supported Accommodation or Children's Residential Services.
✔ Strong leadership and people management experience.
✔ Experience supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
✔ Good understanding of safeguarding legislation and regulatory requirements.
✔ Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
✔ Full UK Driving Licence is desirable.

Pay: £40,680.84-£45,465.94 per year
