Rate: £40 per hour
Travel: £20 per hour
Mileage: £0.45 per mile (car users only)
Parking/Tolls: Submit receipts
Invoice: 30-day term
The successful candidate will provide accurate interpretation services, ensuring clarity and understanding between parties. This role requires excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time interpretation between our legal client and their Arabic (Egyptian) speaking client.
- Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted information and documents
- Utilise specialised translation tools and software to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Adapt communication style to suit the legal context
Requirements
- Multilingual proficiency in Arabic (Egyptian)
- Proven experience in interpretation roles preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both relevant languages
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness of regional dialects or idiomatic expressions
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in interpretation are essential
