About To Go Micro Kitchens
To Go Micro Kitchens provides office pantry services to some of the world’s leading tech companies locally in the Reading Area and in the centre of London.
We deliver a range of snacks, drinks, and fresh products. In some of our offices we also look after the kitchens which will include stocking the snack shelves, loading the fridges and cleaning the coffee machines.
The job will be mostly delivering around the Reading area.
Warehouse duties include timely and accurate picking processes and assisting with Goods In, loading the Vans for deliveries and weekly vehicle checks.
Driving duties require you to have a detailed, and logistical approach, supporting the Micro Kitchen Service from our base in Reading and. You will be delivering a range of snacks, drinks, and fresh products into some of Reading most prestigious offices.
Our delivery drivers deliver to a round of Offices over several different length rounds. You will manage the operational aspects of the service ensuring the correct products have been safely stored, rotated, and displayed.
We require smart, presentable, and courteous drivers with a keen attention to detail and strict adherence to company policies regarding vehicle and product record keeping.
Working hours Monday to Friday with a start time of around 6am - flexibility is required by yourself and us. The role is for 40 hours a week. There may be a requirement for additional hours at times based on the business needs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must be holding a Full UK or Euro Driving license for at least 1 year and a maximum of 6 points with no active IN, DR, or TT codes.
- Must be legally able to drive a Transit van.
- Warehouse experience preferred but training will be given.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Able to pass a drugs & alcohol test.
- Be able to commute to and from our Base in Spencers Wood, Reading - Ideally living with 30 minutes / 20 miles of the site to be considered.
- Home Office Right to work check code & DVLA check code will be required.
- Self-motivation, initiative and high energy are good values to possess in this role.
- Ability to create effective relationships, influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organisational levels.
- Confident with working in a small team reporting directly to the line manager.
- Must enjoy being hands on and customer facing at times - visibility and control is essential.
- Will require a basic knowledge of iPad (training will be given).
- Be reliable and have a willingness to learn and be flexible.
Candidate Responsibilities:

- Ensure that all customer requirements are delivered in line with client and company expectations.
- You will be required to perform product rotation to ensure freshness in the warehouse and customers location.
- Ensure that all Micro Kitchens are filled and merchandised to the required standards laid down by To Go.
- Maintaining and developing Company guidelines, to optimize operational efficiencies.
- Responsible for correct completion of route paperwork; training will be provided.
- Responsible for ordering your route stock on time.
- Maintaining effective communication with Base.
- Ensuring technical faults are notified to the Base.
- Liaison with base on new installations at our clients offices.
- Ensuring company vehicles are kept clean and tidy.
- Attending Team meetings at suitable periods.
- Attending training courses when necessary.
- Comply with all aspects of both the Company Health & Safety policy and procedures and any specified by the Client.
- To be suitably attired on Client’s premises in order to promote a professional image.
