Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Chaperone to oversee the safety and well-being of children with additional learning needs during transportation. Based in the Powys/Shropshire area, this role is vital in ensuring our young passengers have a secure and positive experience while traveling to and from school.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children during bus journeys to ensure safety and proper behaviour.
- Assist with boarding and disembarking children, ensuring all are accounted for.
- Maintain a friendly and reassuring presence to support children's comfort.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and colleagues.
- Ensure the vehicle's safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Report any incidents or concerns to the management promptly.
- Support in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle.
- Promote a positive environment that aligns with our company's community values. Qualifications
- Experience working with children or in childcare settings. (Desirable but not compulsory)
- Good communication skills.
- Responsible, patient, and attentive to detail.
- Friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
