We are dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, and we are in the process of adding to our amazing team of reliable and passionate staff to continue the success of the nursery.
Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team at Over The Rainbow Day Nursery. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare and early childhood education, fostering a safe and engaging environment for our children.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality childcare and educational programs.
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote children's development and learning.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with parents, providing updates on their children's progress and well-being.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to maintain an efficient operation.
- Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a passion for developing others.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education are essential.

We are open from 7:30am - 6:30pm, Monday to Friday and staff work a 4 day week, with a set day off each week. There is the option to work more hours if preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £38,480.00-£49,400.00 per year
