We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Installer specialising in Stone & Quartz Worktops to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the safe handling and transportation of stone and quartz worktops to installation sites.
- Support the measurement, cutting, and fitting of work surfaces according to project specifications.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and setting up necessary tools and materials.
- Collaborate with senior installers to ensure precise placement and secure fixing of worktops.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assist with cutting, polishing, and finishing surfaces.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during installation procedures.
- Maintain organisation of tools and materials on-site, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Support the team in troubleshooting any issues that arise during installation processes.
Skills
- Experience or knowledge of transferable skills in construction-related trades such as roofing, plumbing, welding, plastering, masonry or carpentry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in fabrication and installation tasks.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and protocols.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure precise measurements and fitting.
- Good physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to stonework installation processes.
- Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
