Dealing with customers from a multitude of different Industries you will need to be flexible and adaptable to cope with the different demands and challenges the role will bring. With an open and accessible management structure all staff are treated as individuals and recognized for their contribution. Our sales teams work collaboratively, and great emphasis is placed on creating a positive working environment and a collective team spirit.
Whether it be by telephone or e-mail, the ideal candidate will be an engaging, effective communicator, able to swiftly develop relationships with customers. They will be confident in overcoming objections and exploiting opportunities by thinking outside of the box. Candidates should have a ‘right first time’ mentality and believe in delivering exceptional customer service at every turn. Whilst not essential, the ideal applicant will have experience of a B2B sales environment in engineering / parts distribution. They should be confident and familiar in the use of Microsoft Office software.

Starting salary £26,500 however, for industry experience a package could be negotiated.
Responsibilities
- Engage with B2B customers to understand their needs, providing tailored solutions and identify sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing market share.
- Communicate effectively with clients to build strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Preparation of quotes, sales orders and purchase orders to company standard.
- Work positively both within the sales team and cross functionally with all other departments.
- Effectively manage your own workload.
- Answer customer 'questions, resolving their query and providing additional information via calls and emails.
- Upselling of product and services.
- Develop new opportunities using inbound and outbound calls, emails and quote follow ups.
- Proactively promote the company’s services and current promotions through outbound/inbound telephone calls and email communications.
- Supporting other business functions as and when required.
- Ensuring best in class service is offered at all times.
