Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or fish stations, maintaining organisation and cleanliness.
- Assist in meal preparation, including portioning, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
- Ensure food safety regulations are adhered to at all times, maintaining hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Monitor stock levels within your section and communicate needs for replenishment to the Head Chef.
- Train junior staff members and provide guidance on food preparation techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant setting.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Previous experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality dishes.
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
