We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Night Shift Customer Service Assistant to join our team at Shell Chesterfield South.

No two nights are the same. From serving customers and replenishing stock to ensuring the store remains clean, safe, and fully operational, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for every customer who visits our site.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Night Shift Customer Service Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for customers.
- Operating the till and handling customer transactions accurately.
- Replenishing shelves and ensuring products are fully stocked and well presented.
- Receiving, checking and processing deliveries.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the store.
- Cleaning and maintaining Costa Coffee machines and beverage areas.
- Cleaning and monitoring customer toilet facilities to ensure they remain clean and presentable.
- Carrying out routine housekeeping and safety checks.
- Assisting with stock rotation and reducing waste.
- Supporting the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the site throughout the night.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards.

- Be confident handling cash and operating tills.
- Be flexible with working hours when required.
- Have full weekend availability.
- Previous retail, convenience store, petrol station or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Hours
The primary role is for night shifts (11:00pm – 7:00am).
However, additional shifts may also be available depending on business needs and the successful candidate's availability:
- Morning Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
- Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am

- Holiday entitlement is 28 days per year, including bank holidays.
